ACRON's branch in Switzerland was opened by company founder Klaus W. Bender in 1988. Since 2009 his son Kai Bender has become the Managing Director of ACRON AG, Zurich. ACRON AG´s purpose is to initiate real estate investments in Switzerland. These investment projects involve the acquisition and sale of properties. In addition, the company selects and conducts due diligence on these properties in Switzerland; forms the real estate limited partnerships that hold the properties; manages the business of these companies, including managing the properties; and fulfills all other related responsibilities. ACRON AG also advises and provides support to investors acquiring interests in Switzerland.

ACRON GmbH is a subsidiary in which ACRON AG, Zurich holds a 100% interest. The company's main business activities are structuring and implementing real estate investments in Switzerland and the United States.

ACRON US HOLDING CORPORATION was founded by Klaus W. Bender, its CEO, in 2005. The company holds a majority interest in ACRON (USA) L.P. and is the sole shareholder of ACRON U.S. Management, Inc.

The first ACRON branch in Dallas, Texas, was established as early as 1991; this company now does business as ACRON (USA) L.P. Its key responsibilities are purchasing real estate and conducting due diligence on the U.S. properties, obtaining long-term financing, as well as establishing and structuring the real estate limited partnerships. ACRON (USA) L.P. also acts as general partner to and, in certain cases, is a co-investor in the real estate limited partnerships.
