The Radisson airport hotel, which features offices and conference space, opened in summer 2008 and was renamed Radisson Blu Hotel, Zurich Airport in the course of the rebranding of the Rezidor Group in the following year. The Radisson Blu is a 4-star Superior Hotel, Seminar and Congress Center.
ACRON conceived the investment at Zurich Airport as a private placement in spring 2006. Only six months after the market launch 100 percent of the shares were acquired by an investor through a subordinated investor loan. The annual return after IRR was 18.72 percent.
In 2009, the sole shareholder of the subsequently renamed ACRON HELVETIA IV sold the shares to an institutional investor. Even after the sale of the company, which was renamed in the meanwhile again, ACRON AG will continue to be responsible for the management of the property.
