ACRON HELVETIA IV
ACRON HELVETIA IV Immobilien AG
ACRON conceived the investment in Zurich Airport as a private placement in spring 2006. The hotel, which features offices and conference space, opened in summer 2008 and was renamed Radisson Blu Hotel, Zurich Airport in the course of the rebranding of the Rezidor Group in the following year.
The equity was provided by a subordinated investor loan in 2006. In 2009, the sole shareholder of the subsequently renamed ACRON HELVETIA IV sold the company to an institutional investor, whose annual return after IRR was 19 percent. Even after the sale of the company, which was renamed in the meanwhile, ACRON AG will continue to be responsible for management of the property.
